Impractical-Jokers

Impractical Jokers has successfully completed ten seasons now, which are all about punishments. The pilot episode aired on December 15, 2011.

Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, Joe Gatto, and Sal Vulcano have embarrassed each other on truTV since 2011.

The hidden camera TV show has amassed an enormous fan following from across the world. The show began when they had been making each other laugh in real life and just decided to show with this show format.

The four people first met in 1990 at high school, joking around, and became friends. Then, they created an absolutely undeniable comedy empire.

Every punishment in the show is unique, and they are just hilarious, which keeps the audience entertained.

There are plenty of different punishments in the show. But some of the best punishments are below.

1. Warehouse of Tarantula Terror

This one was such a bad punishment that even the Impractical Jokers team acknowledged it as one of the worst.

In the season 5 episode Spider-Man, Q was strapped down and covered in tarantulas. They tested Q’s arachnophobia by tying him to a board and torturing him with a remote-controlled spider.

Later when he settled, they changed out for real-life tarantulas. The other Jokers insisted that this was the best way to overcome someone’s fear.

Brian “Q” Quinn had to face his most profound and darkest fears. It was one of the best, worst punishments in the season 5.

Q had perfectly handled the situation even after panicking. Sweat was pouring down his face. Even those who are only watching the TV might feel the gravity of the punishment.

2. Whose phone is ringing?

This time Sal was the losing Joker and had to attend the book-reading session surrounded by real book buffs.

There is only one catch. No matter how many times it rang, he couldn’t answer his phone inside. It was even worse when the ringtone lyrics were, “Whose phone is ringing? It’s mine, mine.”

The other jokers were enjoying themselves from the other room, watching him.

They called him several times, and the session got interrupted on more than several occasions. As a result, many people were annoyed, and one lady even approached him and requested to turn off the phone.

However, he needed to keep the phone no matter what.

Sal managed to get through most of it, but when it was his turn to read, the phone buzzed once more, and the audience erupted in laughter. People laughed hard while watching this episode.

3. Sky Diving Is For Losers

Not just hilarious, they came out with thrilling episodes where Murr’s sky-diving punishment took that sentiment to the next level.

The three others tricked him into thinking they were teaching others how to jump out of the planes. Then the surprise came when they told him that he was the one to jump out of the plane.

In the season 3 episode, ‘Look Out Below,’ punishment came when he lost two out of three challenges. Murr was so scared while jumping out of the plane, which could be seen on his face.

Undoubtedly, he was absolutely terrified of heights. They always push each other from their comfort zone to make the audience laugh.

In an interview with Sling Television, Murr said, “A few seasons ago they threw me out of an airplane – and I’m terrified of heights – for a punishment.”

It was hysterical for him because he cried like a baby. It was hilarious and terrifying.

Further, he said that they always pushed boundaries, but they knew, in general, they were not going to kill anybody.

4. Best Man Speech Goes Horribly Wrong

The Impractical Jokers team went to a wedding, where the punishment was ready for Sal.

In the Season 3 episode ‘Toasted,’ Sal is once again sent to the losers’ bench and is required to make a speech written by the other Jokers at a random couple’s nuptials.

According to the TV show Instagram, they said that there was actually a wedding guest who recognized him.

The bride and groom were actually in it, whereas the other three hundred guests were unaware of it.

The bride and groom were thrilled, with an interview after their big day stating: “My name is Gary, and this is my wife Crystal, we’re huge fans of Impractical Jokers, and they made our night.”

Sal couldn’t refuse after losing in an argument in earlier challenges.

5. Three Jokers Get Inked

This time three of the Impractical Jokers team got a permanent punishment. Q, Murr, and Sal had to face the punishment because they lost a challenge attaching balloons to customers without getting caught by them.

In the season 3 episode, the Permanent Punishment, Joe chose an embarrassing tattoo for Q, Murr, and Sal.

The tattoo was Q’s involving a cat, Murr’s a ferret skydiving, and Sal’s a portrait of Jaden Smith. Later when Q was answering fan questions, one of his fans asked, “What is the punishment you were most scared doing?”

Then he replied that the tattoo punishment was the scariest one. Fans of the reality show look back at it as one of the funniest punishments of all time.
