They had friends who were going to get married in New Orleans. While Nicole was invited, he was not. He knew the groom but could not make it to the list as they had run out of quotas.

So, he went to the ceremony anyway. He was dancing around with his shirt unbuttoned. She then went right up to him and said, “If you don’t button up, I’m going to braid your chest hair.”

After that, the then-future couple danced together for the rest of the night. Reminiscing about their meeting, Dylan’s wife said he was handsome. On the other hand, Dylan also said she had some very unusual dance moves.

Dylan further added, “It was bold, very bold of her to pull out her dance moves in front of the crowd people.” She revealed that she always remembered his smile.

At the time of their encounter, Dylan lived in a van, and Nicole lived in Philadelphia. So, it was a long-distance relationship, and they couldn’t see and meet each other.

Thus, they would talk for hours at night, and that’s how they got to know one another. As the time passed, they connected really well. Nicole realized she was falling for him, and he, too, felt the same way.

So, Nicole’s husband ended up moving in with her in Philadelphia. From there, they traveled to Alaska. Their relationship started on an adventure, and they revealed that they wanted it to end the same way.

Parents of Two Beautiful Girls

Eventually, the couple tied the knot in September 2014, and it has been almost a decade since their marriage.

In all these years of being together, the Lane couple welcomed two daughters. On August 17, 2016, Dylan’s wife gave birth to their first child, Philomena Frances Lane.

Then, in August 2018, they welcomed their second child, Gracie. Before getting married, Dylan used to live in New York City.

But, after his daughters arrived, the couple has been living in rural upstate New York. He loves to play the “Guess Who” game with his daughter.
