The ‘Floor Seats’ singer ASAP Ferg has been in a relationship with a photographer Renell Medrano. Since 2018, the rapper has been spotted with his girlfriend at various events.
Originally, Ferg and Medrano attended the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination Costume Institute Gala on May 2018 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The lovely couple showed up in style. American fashion designer Pamella Roland designed the photographer’s dress, whereas Ferg matched her beautiful dress with a white suit.
From then on, the couple had attended several events together. In 2019, the couple was also spotted with rings on their left-hand ring fingers while attending one such event, sparking marriage rumors.
ASAP Ferg and Girlfriend Start Marriage Speculations
The couple’s marriage speculations started circulating when Ferg and Medrano were pictured wearing a beautiful ring. They attended the Tiffany & Co. modern love photography show in February 2019.
Fans instantly noticed the ring on their fingers. Hence, the speculation of ASAP Ferg being married to his girlfriend started circulating. Well, they might not have been married at the time, but speculating an engagement wasn’t too far-fetched either.
Just seven months later, Ferg and his girlfriend Medrano appeared wearing the same ring at the 5th Annual Diamond Ball, helping the Clara Lionel Foundation at Cipriani Wall Street.
It fueled the marriage speculations as admirers had already noticed their ring in February. However, the couple has been silent about their relationship till now, and it’s still a mystery about their marriage.
As it continued in 2021 also while the pair attended Verzuz at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
The duo hasn’t posted their pictures together on social media. Actually, Ferg went as far as to remove all of his posts from his Instagram page altogether. He has over 5 million followers and zero posts.

Medrano First Solo Exhibition Show
Renell Medrano is a documentary photographer who has built an enviable portfolio. Her first solo exhibition opened two days in 2020 in London.
In the PAMPARA, she presented a highly personal element to her work during London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2020 with a debut solo display that addressed her Dominican roots.
Titled PAMPARA, the show is an unabashed poetry to numerous delighted summers spent in the Dominican Republic.
From her parent’s birthplace, uncovering Santiago and San Cristobal with fresh eyes, she’d put up pictures with deep personal resonance.
Medrano also shared it on Instagram, captioned “PAMPARA, my first UK solo show.” She thanked everyone who stopped by and supported her first solo exhibition.
The series of photographs captured at the end of 2019 turned into an exhibition, book, and film in partnership with WePresent.
Many people, as well as celebrities like Bella Hadid, attended her exhibition.
Biggest Challenges While Making PAMPARA
“It was a lot to take in because it was my first time going there [Dominican Republic] to shoot,” said Medrano to Vogue. At first, she didn’t know where to begin because it was all so overwhelming.
She felt that one week wasn’t enough and wanted to take another trip to cover more ground. Although, she began roaming around and didn’t force anything.
As she explained to the outlet, when she runs into something she loves, Medrano returns to it the next day.
“Next time, I think I’ll have a better sense of what I’m going back for.” said Medrano.

Her Grandmother Also Featured In the Exhibition
Ferg’s girlfriend, Medrano, was close to her grandmother, who was also featured in her first exhibition. Her grandmother often visited them in New York, where she babysat her and her siblings.
They prayed together before bed and when they woke up. One of their favorite images on the PAMPARA is of her on Medrano’s parent’s bed.
Medrano chose documentary photography because she got the rawness of her subjects and genuine emotion. It also taught her to find the beauty and everything that’s what she enjoys the most.
