Koren Grieveson and her then partner, Anne Burrell, had planned their wedding back in 2013.
The couple was engaged in 2012 in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Burrell announced their engagement through Twitter in January 2013.
She tweeted, “Happy new year, everyone! Happy and healthy! And I’m engaged!!!!!!!!.”

The couple eventually thought of a long-run race together as they planned their wedding after engagement. According to SportsKeeda, they were planning to tie the knot by 2018.
Burrell revealed their dream wedding and where it might end up being. They had talked about it and thought of a destination wedding, maybe in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
What made the destination perfect and special for the couple? Well, it was where the pair traveled together for the first time ever.
“So it’s kind of a special spot for us,” Burrell told Entertainment Tonight. Grieveson had moved to New York from Chicago to be with Burell in September 2012.
Shockingly, the pair couldn’t take their relationship after the engagement. Grieveson and Burrell ultimately split up, and their fantasized nuptials never materialized.
Then since 2014, Grieveson has kept her personal and professional life out of the limelight. On the other hand, Burrell remarried.
Anne Burrell Ties the Knot with Stuart Claxton in New York
The famous chef Anne Burrell married Stuart Claxton in a beautiful wedding ceremony in New York.
Burrell and Claxton eventually tied the knot after getting engaged in April 2020 while quarantining with her family and Claxton in Cazenovia.
“I can’t believe it’s really here. It’s kind of surreal,” Burrell said. They felt so much love and support from everyone who attended their wedding.
Burrell’s fairytale wedding was completed as she arrived down the aisle in a horse and carriage. She was accompanied by her sister, close friends, celebrity chef Rachael Ray, and four bridesmaids.
The chef wore a beautiful wedding dress made by Carolina Herrera. It was the first gown she had tried on. She said she loved Carolina forever because the chef felt like she knew how to dress real women.

Koren Grieveson was born in 1971 in Luanda, South Africa. She had to move around a lot because her father was in the poultry business.
As a result, she has stayed in several countries – Zimbabwe, Iran, Brazil, and England. At last, they settled in the USA.
Initially, the chef also served eight years in the U.S. military. Later, she attended the Culinary Institute of America, based in New York.
Grieveson graduated in 1996 and took up her first chef job at Spruce. She worked there until she landed a job as a sous chef in Blackbird under chef Paul Kahan.
In the process, she gained a lot of experience, which eventually helped her to be named the Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2008.
Furthermore, she also won James Beard Award in 2010, when she was working at Chicago-based restaurant Avec.
In 2014, she tweeted, “Spreading Christmas cheer in the kitchen @Claudette for brunch,” which revealed that she worked at Claudette.
Later she began working as the executive chef at NYC Resto for six months in October 2015 after departing from Avec.
Since then, her personal and professional life has been out of the limelight.
