Addy Returned to Service with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department?

Surprisingly, Addy has returned to service even though she announced she was leaving. As per LIVEPD.ORG, she was seen back on duty with Richland County in July 2023.

In addition, the outlet also claimed that one of her colleagues, Daniel Mulcahy, also confirmed she has returned to Richland. Plus, many also noticed her in On Patrol: Live.

One user tweeted, “What am I missing here, I thought Addy Perez moved to Texas, and now I see her here tonight on live PD???”

While some users noticed her on On Patrol: Live, others were confused if she returned to service or moved to Texas.

Addy Perez Was a Drill Sergeant Leader

Before her career in law enforcement at Richland, she was a Drill Sergeant Leader in the U.S. Army Drill Sergeant Academy. She grew up in the Bronx borough of New York City.

Perez has many family members who are officers in the New York Police Department. But she wanted to become a veterinarian rather than a cop.

In an interview with The State, she said she wanted to be different and see if she could succeed without the military and law enforcement.

What Made Her Become a Police Officer after Serving in the Military?

After leaving active duty as a Drill Sergeant, Perez, a big favorite on the show (Live PD)—joined Richland County. It was an easy transition for her from the military into law enforcement.

During an interview with A&E, she said they have similar structures and environments. She came from law enforcement and military folks.

In addition, she has a lot of friends, cousins, uncles, and aunts with the New York Police Department. Therefore, it was easier for her to enter it because she was also more familiar with the environment.

In the end, Addy has returned to her usual job. It is not known what her new job was and the reason behind her decision to return.
