According to LiveRampUp, Tara Montpetit is an African American, whereas her husband is Caucasian. Together, the interracial couple is part of a ministry that preaches Christianity in several parts of America.

Her Youngest Child Arrived Early
On September 26, 2021, the couple was blessed with their beautiful child, Frankie Mae Montpetit. Tara took to Facebook to share the wonderful news.
Tara’s fifth child, Frankie, arrived early at 35 weeks and six days. So, both the mother and daughter were hospitalized while the latter was kept in the NICU.
Before the arrival of her kid, the mother-to-be often shared her pregnancy updates. And even after her birth, she updated her followers and friends on how her baby was growing up. Her posts received several warm wishes from her followers.
For instance, in August 2021, she gave her seven months of pregnancy updates by sharing a black and white photo, holding a placard that read, “7 months.” She wore a T-shirt that had written, “It’s Joey’s Fault” on it.
Tara expressed her excitement as she wrote, “Please pray with us for this beautiful blessing that will be joining the Lil Mountain Crew in October We just want the Lord to be Glorified in and through our growing family! HE IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!”
She further added that her children and husband are attentive to her and each other and thanked the lord for more peace and grace along the way.
How Many Children Do Tara and Her Husband Have?
Tara’s announcement of her new born-baby was not the first time she expressed the happiness of parenthood to her loved ones.
The couple had two children, a son Nicholas Montpetit and a daughter Laila Montpetit before they married. Nicholas, lovingly called Sonny Montpetit, was born in May 2000, whereas Laila Gabrielle Montpetit arrived in January 2002.
Eventually, after getting married, they were blessed with more happiness and joy in their family.
The couple was blessed with a daughter Joie Lee Montpetit in October 2007 and a son Luca William Montpetit on January 28, 2018. The singer thanked the lord as she was grateful for his lovely blessing and prayed for more grace as she expanded her family.
Additionally, Tara expressed her affection for her family on the occasion of Christmas. To show her gratitude for her family, she wrote, “Christmas Celebration at church last night… We are so blessed to be a part of FWC! God is so good! Did you see the program last night?”

Who Is Tara Montpetit’s Husband?
According to his Facebook profile, Tara’s husband is from Hopkins Park, Illinois, and is currently based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He works as a preacher and teacher for the Prison Ministry.
Regarding his educational background, Joseph completed his studies at Jimmy Swaggart Bible College in the year 2013.
His profile further suggested that he worked as a driver at Homewood Disposal from March 2002 to August 2012 and as a security at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries for seven years, from May 2014 to December 2021.
Similar to her husband, Tara studied at Jimmy Swaggart Bible College. The couple might have met there. Regarding her work background, she has been working as an Independent Beauty Consultant at Mary Kay.
Further, she also works at Family Worship Center in Louisiana and is a Bronze Director at FirstFitness Nutrition.
