Monyetta Shaw and her then fiancé Heath Carter walked down the aisle for a glamorous photo shoot at Biltmore Ballrooms in the historic Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta.
Heath Carter and The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Monyetta Shaw got married in Atlanta surrounded by their friends and family. The magnificent wedding ceremony was held on November 7, 2021.
Some of the popular guests who attended the occasion were Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss, among others.
Who is Monyetta Shaw’s Husband?
Monyetta took to Instagram to share her happiness with her fans and followers. She posted a picture with her husband, Heath Carter, captioned, “The Carter Vibe 🙌🏽”
Apart from his fans and followers, Monyetta’s ex-fiancé was one of the more memorable names in the comments section, congratulating the newlyweds.
As per the report by Essence, the singer wrote, “FLY S–T HAPPY S–T,” “So happy for you guys!!!!!”, to which Monyetta replied, “Thank you so much!!!”
According to the star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, her husband, Heath, is a businessman and a father of two. She added Heath is the CEO of his companies and even managed the time for his kids with ease.
Monyetta further explained in an interview, she would see her husband, Heath, rearranging his schedule just to make sure he saw her daughter.
Moreover, Monyetta revealed that Heath’s love for his children was one of the reasons she fell for him.
When asked about her blended family, the reality star shared that it was a great experience to connect.
After their marriage, Monyetta’s children, Madilyn and Mason, joined Heath’s two children, Gigi and Brianna. Currently, the couple live happily together in their home.

Monyetta Shaw’s Relationship with Singer Ne-Yo
Before getting married to his ex-wife Chrystal Renay, Ne-Yo was in a relationship with his ex-fiancé Monyetta Shaw.
The couple met back in 2009 at a Jamie Foxx concert and were engaged a year later. The author and reality TV star Monyetta and singer Ne-Yo dated each other for several years. However, despite having two kids together, the pair could not make it down the aisle.
There were several rumors regarding their fallout, some fans even accused the singer of forcing Monyetta to get sterilized.
Regarding the subject, Monyetta had said, “Sterilization was something Ne-Yo and I discussed thoroughly in the months leading up to the baby’s delivery. We had a daughter, Madilyn, in 2010, and two children seemed like more than enough for both of us. Ne-Yo also agreed to undergo a vasectomy to show our mutual commitment to the relationship.”
Monyetta made it clear that she was not forced, and had agreed to co-parent their kids since their split.
Nevertheless, in August 2023, Monyetta spoke about the reason behind their fallout. In an interview, she revealed that they cheated together and he had different sexual fantasies, which later became too much for her.

After her separation from Ne-Yo, she took her time to tend to herself and heal.
