While giving an Interview with Independent Women’s Forum, Ekpunobi eventually disclosed that she had a boyfriend.
During the course of the interview, Ekpunobi was reminiscing about the time when she had gone to a university to speak, and there she encountered 40 to 50 students who were protesting against her.
She revealed that she showed her black power fist tattoo to them. She further revealed that she got it tattooed when she was sixteen.
And then, interviewer Beverly Hallberg asked Amala if she planned to keep that tattoo that she had as a (white supremacist story) reminder.
Ekpunobi replied, “I think for now, it’s going to stay because it’s part of the story.” Then she said, “My boyfriend would love it to be gone, I will tell you that. But for now, it’s there.”
The statement clarified her fans’ questions about her relationship status, which have been hidden from social media platforms.
Furthermore, discussing her boyfriend, the internet personality said that she was lucky to find him.
Ekpunobi found the dating scene rough, which she knew from her close friends who were trying to venture into the dating scene and find men.
She stated that she was living in LA, and it was even more complicated there than in other areas. Later Ekpunobi professed that she luckily found somebody just by coincidence and out of all places at a bar in LA.

The internet personality currently works at PragerU. The company’s CEO, Marissa Streit, told her something very significant when she first started working there.
Streit said,
“Amala, your career is very important, but you should work just as hard at finding your significant other as you do at seeking out accolades in your career and moving up the ladder.”
Ekpunobi stated to the interviewer that she took that to heart. She added that she was aware that many ladies were heeding the advice.
But Amala thought that Gen-Z stat was coming from the women who were rejecting that narrative. Ekpunobi saw a lot of Gen-Z females saying, “I never want to get married. You think I’m going to enter into some sort of contract with somebody when it’s inevitably going to end?”
