According to a comment by a Reddit user, her father is Gregg Champion, a film director. Her mother, Christine Champion, was a rising actress in the 90s.
The NYC-based model has always been expressive about her love for her father and mother. She has mentioned both on her social media accounts, like Instagram.
For instance, Alana uploaded a picture in June 2017 featuring her father. Similarly, she posted a photo of herself, including her mother and aunt, in March 2017.
The model strongly connects with her mother, as she expressed she loves her mother and vice-versa.

Alana’s Father Was a Director
The model’s father, Gregg E. Champion, also known as Champ, was born on November 20, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He had a brother named Blake Gower Champion, who died at age 25 in an accident.
Alana’s father attended the USC School of Cinema and appreciated directors such as Nicholas Roeg, Blake Edwards, and John Badham.
Champ’s feature directing credits include Stakeout, Short Circuit, Blue Thunder, and Padre. For his exceptional work, he has received the Christopher Award in the best director category for 14 hours, The Gabby Douglas Story and Amish Grace.
Most recently, her father choreographed action sequences with Emile Hirsch in the miniseries Bonnie & Clyde.
Mother Was a 90s Icon
Similar to her father, Alana’s mother worked in the entertainment industry. Her mama was a notable actress of the early and late 90s.
She is known for her works in movies such as Disruptor, Baywatch, and The Burning Zone. Besides, despite her rising popularity and appearances on the big screen, Lana’s mother’s career as an actress was short-lived.

Alana’s grandparents were Gower Champion and Marge Champion. Her grandmother was a real-life model for Snow White, who teamed up with her partner for TV shows, movies, and Broadway musicals.
Marge was born to father Ernest Belcher, a notable Hollywood dance teacher who taught in Shirly Temple, and Fred Astaire.
The model’s grandmother married Gower, a student of her father, in 1946 but later divorced in 1973. After their separation, her grandfather married Karla Most. He sadly passed away in 1980 at the age of 61.
Before marrying Gower, Marge was married to Art Babbitt, a Disney animator, in 1936. However, their relationship was short-lived, as they decided to divorce in 1940.
Her third and last marriage was with a director, Boris Sagal, in 1997. Sadly, her husband died after he sustained an injury from a helicopter blade while filming the NBC miniseries World War III.
She is survived by her son, Gregg Champion, stepdaughters Katey, Liz, and Jean Sagal, and a stepson, Joey.
